Nelly's....(Paonia) Tiny spot, hard to miss right in the middle of main street in Paonia, open breakfasts and lunch...claim 89% organic ingredients, vegan/vegitarian available reasonable prices, patio and inside seating...cute, nice and good food.
"The Old River Trading Post"...(Paonia) at the Lamborn Community Natural Food Store on the Old River Road (1559 4110 Drive) east of Paonia...a cafeteria featuring soups and main dishes with salads, chai, teas, etc..one of the most innovative and intensive vegan, organic menus in western Colorado...open for lunches and usually until around 5 pm....call 527-4740 for directions...worth finding if you haven't.
"The Sun Drop"...(Grand Junction) 321 Rood Avenue...1 block north of Main Street and a few blocks west of South 5th. Excellent calazones, lasagna, wraps, burritos, many deserts including vegan baklavas to die for, gourmet coffe and teas, couple of different soups daily ....243-1175 for directions if you're lost.
