"I see Natural Building as a necessity in the larger context of a sustainable world view. I would like to help people realize the possibility of creating a non-toxic and energy independent environment for themselves that is aesthetically appealing, ecologically sensitive, and affordable. My particular interest is in passive solar, strawbale, and earthen construction of modest proportions. I enjoy the challenges in designing and building remodels, additions, and new homes. I don't mind working with owner/builders, travelling, or staying on site. What I would really like to see is the growth of Natural Building in communities, towns, and especially cities, to the point of being conventional practice."

Recommendations:

"Graham is one of the most energetic, widely experienced and willing young builders I've come across in Western Colorado. His levelheaded approach and commitment brought the Ward home into being with a minimum of hassles in the face of significant challenges. He understands the deepest principles of sustainability and natural lifestyle....and lives by them. He also demonstrates continued willingness to study and learn design, building and lifestyle systems for his own living needs and the services he provides to others. He's an excellent lead builder and seems best suited working with an owner functioning as their own contractor. He would be one of the first I would recommend in this area for a project along those lines."
